We work so much to keep it going
Don't make me want to give up"
Running by No Doubt
I've always loved running.
Aside from keeping me happy and energized througout the day and diverting my attention from the irksome current events in my life; running is helping me reach my fitness goals, one step at a time.
I used to run everyday—outdoors or even just on the treadmill. I stopped for a while because I got addicted to RPM and did that regularly instead. Now that I am off the bike for a while, I went back to running. I've been doing 10k every other day while I engage in cross training on the days that I don't. I hit my best 10k time last Friday, 66 minutes! I died a few moments later.
The other day, a real runner friend of mine talked to me about Chondromalacia Patellae or what most people refer to as the runner's knee. He really scared me! He advised me to take some preventive measures as early as now, hence, this thing strapped under my knee:
An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure daw kasi, haha!
Running is love. I'm pushing myself to do better. Hard to imagine, but when you have a running buddy like my evol twin, Steph, it becomes fun!

Kanina while checking out Nike stuff, my eyes glimmered when I saw this padded capri cycling pants. I fell in love with it, I knew I had to buy it! When I tried it on though, I had second thoughts because it looked almost the same as the running pants that I have. HAHAHA not that I care more about how it looks like pero yeah maybe. Hahaha! Its a bit pricey (P1500) for something that looks so... simple.
I didn't buy it. But I'll probably come back for it because I really seem to like it (because I'm still thinking about it now, haha darn it I'm even blogging about it) Kasi I'm wondering if it would really ease the 'pain' of sitting on the saddle hahaha.
ERGH NIKE FLU I HATE THE NIKE FLU.
